Transmutilation: noun; neologism. Text that has been transmuted via translation.
Translation? Maybe literally, from one language to another. Maybe figuratively, through rewriting an established text. Maybe broadly, an expression in text of life experience, an idea, etc.
Transmuted? Altered, changed, remodeled, repurposed, metamorphosed. Rendered somehow otherwise (via commentary, for instance) or unrecognizable (via rewriting, for instance).
